Wenk Associates is thrilled to have our project Aria Denver selected to receive an Honor Award in the Special Rotating Category (Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity) by the Colorado Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). The category recognizes projects built or unbuilt that focus on equity, inclusion, and diversity, with a focus on designing for social impact - projects that give voice to those who have been historically disenfranchised, marginalized, or excluded.
We are proud to have worked with innovative developers – Urban Ventures LLC and Perry Rose LLC – as the lead designers on this project designed to cultivate life. The project creates infrastructure and programming that promotes an active lifestyle, increases access to healthy food, and offers integrated health services for a long-underserved community that was designated a “food and health care desert.”
